A Full Circle Moment: The Message That Reminded Me Why We Do This
Last Sunday I sat down with the guys from Get to the Joint to record a podcast episode. We had a great conversation, and one of the things we ended up talking about was the private messages I get. People telling me how they use our products, what they use them for, and what they've helped with. I get a lot of them, and I never get tired of reading them.
Then I got home, and this was waiting for me.
The message
A friend who has been going through cancer treatment reached out. She had burns and inflammation from radiation, similar to a severe sunburn, and she wanted to know if it was worth trying our Recovery Gold salve on the area. I told her I thought it was worth a shot and to keep me posted.
Just over 24 hours later, she messaged back.
"Just over 24 hours of using your recovery salve and the improvement is unbelievable!!!"
"This evening there is almost no redness, the swelling is down significantly and the area is much less tender. Wow!!"
A few days after that, one more update:
"The salve worked amazingly. The best way I can describe it is that it calmed everything down."
She gave me permission to share this as long as she stays anonymous, so her name and photo are hidden. Every message you see in the video is her exact words.

Why this one hits differently
I love hearing all the different ways people use our salves. But being able to bring some comfort to a friend going through something this serious is different. I sent the conversation to the guys from the podcast that same night, because we had literally just talked about this. I am incredibly grateful to get to do what I do. I keep saying it, and I mean it.
This one is for you
